AirPods Battery After 1 Year

A few days away from the 1 year anniversary with a pair of AirPods I decided to run some numbers. My goal was to find out exactly how my battery life compares to the technical specifications listed on Apples website.

After one year of what I would call moderate use or 3-4 hours a day the right pod seems is the one that drains noticebly faster. I do take intermittent brakes and during thos times I place in the case for charging. I would say that I generally dont get below 60% in a single days use. I investigated a tool that would let me see what the charge cycles were but was unable to find one. Overall I am still able to achieve a solid 4 hours of use out of both. If only I could get used to slapping the side of my head for playback control.
